The new classical world
Andrea Vettoretti è l’artista che ha sdoganato la chitarra classica. Questo strumento troppo spesso legato ad un’ immagine spagnoleggiante o puramente classica, rivive con una nuova veste, mai vista fino ad ora. Non si ascolta “solo” un musicista di grandissimo talento ed eleganza strumentale, ma il pubblico viene anche rapito dalla sua musica originale che si fonde in uno stile unico. Al fascino del suo linguaggio originale si unisce un suono avvolgente e caldo, al quale non è facile sottrarsi.
Nei suoi brani si possono cogliere elementi che vanno dalla Classica, al Minimalismo, al World strizzando l’occhio al Rock. Questa è la musica di Andrea Vettoretti, una via “alternativa” alla definizione semplicistica dell’arte e della musica: uno sguardo sul mondo di ieri e uno sul futuro. Riguardo alla sua musica lo stesso Andrea Vettoretti dice:
"Mi piace sperimentare, provare nuove strade che portino, anche dopo lunghi percorsi, ad una sintesi. Della musica classica mi appassiona la profondità e la molteplicità. Di altri generi musicali invece la semplicità ed allo stesso tempo la forza di comunicazione."Si diploma in conservatorio con il massimo dei voti e prosegue gli studi presso la prestigiosa “Ecole Normale de Musique” di Parigi, sotto la guida del M° Alberto Ponce, dove ottiene in soli due anni, il “Diplome Supérieur de Execution” e, successivamente il “Diplome Supérieur de Concertiste”, massimo riconoscimento dell’ “Ecole Normale”. E’ risultato vincitore in tredici Competizioni Musicali Internazionali. Tanti i concerti e le sue tournées internazionali: dalla Queen Elizabeth Hall di Londra, alla Salle Cortot di Parigi, facendo tappa nelle città più importanti al mondo tra le quali: Roma, Berlino, Dublino, Parigi, Valencia, Lima, Città del Messico, Miami, Sydney. I concerti di Andrea Vettoretti sono accompagnati da un’attenta coreografia di luci ed effetti che seguono l’interprete in maniera poetica, passionale ed elegante.
Ha inciso dieci compact disc per varie etichette discografiche. La musica di Andrea Vettoretti si può ascoltare nei principali canali web come iTunes, Spotify e Youtube. Il cd RAIN pubblicato da CNI Unite nel 2015, rappresenta un ponte tra la profondità della Classica ed il nuovo modo di fare musica di Andrea Vettoretti. La sua musica è stata utilizzata dal regista Davide Del Degan (Selezione Festival di Cannes 2016) in alcuni Cortometraggi e nel video ufficiale Sensations vincitore dell’ Akademia Music Award 2016 Il suo ultimo album “Wonderland” pubblicato nel 2017 e interamente dedicato alle sue musiche si ispira al mondo onirico di “Alice nel Paese delle meraviglie”. .
È Testimonial di Dokita ONG riconosciuta dal Ministero degli Affari Esteri con la quale promuove un progetto di Educazione musicale per i bambini della Valle di Santa Eulalia (Perù) denominato MUSICARE. Andrea Vettoretti lega il progetto RAIN al Centro Internazionale Civiltà dell’Acqua Onlus per far crescere una rinnovata sensibilità nei confronti dell'ambiente e del paesaggio. Guitarist Andrea Vettoretti has liberated the classical guitar. This instrument, too often linked to the Spanish or purely classical tradition, has been refashioned by Vettoretti into a new form. One does not only listen to a musician of great talent and instrumental elegance, but the audience also becomes captivated by the originality of his music that merges into a unique style. Harmonies that resemble the sophistication of another famous Italian composer: Ludovico Einaudi, but with the magic of Seicorde. The charm of his original style is the fusion of a sound both enchanting and warm, a sound that one cannot miss.
A polished musician who expresses himself with a language both cultured and emotional, connecting classical music with many other genres.
As Andrea Vettoretti says:

Vettoretti obtained his music diploma with full marks from the “G. Rossini” Conservatory of Fermo and then continued his studies at the prestigious “Ecole Normale de Music” in Paris under the guidance of Alberto Ponce, where after only two years he gained the “Diplome Supérieur de Execution” and the “Diplome Supérieur de Concertiste”. He has won 13 international music competitions. Concerts by Vettoretti are accompanied by choreographed light and effects which follow the music, interpreting it in a poetic, passionate and elegant way. He has played many concerts and international tours, from the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, to the Salle Cortot in Paris, stopping in metropolitan cities, among them Rome, Berlin, Dublin, Valencia, Mexico City, Miami and Sydney.
He has recorded 10 CDs for various recording companies. Vettoretti’s music can be heard on iTunes, Spotify and YouTube. His CD RAIN, published by CNI Unite in 2015, represents a bridge between the depth of the classic style and the new music of Andrea Vettoretti. The new single ‘Through the Looking Glass’ is available on iTunes and all digital channels and is the precursor to the album ‘Wonderland’ which came out in 2017. The album, with original interpretation is inspired by the fantasy world of Alice in Wonderland. His music has been used by the director Davide Del Degan (selected for the Cannes Festival in 2016) in his short films and in the official video Sensations, winner of the Akademia Music Award 2016.
Andrea Vettoretti is sponsor and ambassador of a musical education program for children from the Santa Eulalia Valley in Peru, known as Musicare. Andrea Vettoretti binds the RAIN project to the Water Civilisation International Center (Centro Internazionale Civiltà dell’Acqua) Onlus. The center works to build sensibility in our territory to “Water Culture”, and generally a renewed sensibility for the environment and nature.
He is the Art Director of the prestigious International Guitar Festival “Delle Due Città” Treviso – Rome.
